After dinner, the three return to their room.

“That was excellent!” Max says.

“I’m stuffed.” Chelsy says, falling on one of the beds.

“Hey Nick, what time does the dance start?” Max asks.

“Um, not long from now.” he answers.

“Oh no! I can’t go like this! I’m a mess!” Chelsy shrieks.

“Then go take a shower.” Nick says. He tosses her a brush from inside his bag. Chelsy walks into the bathroom and closes the door. She examines the small bottles of different soaps.

“Ah! Fur soap for pokemon.” She says finding the right one. She steps into the shower and slides the curtain. A half hour later she steps back out into the room where Nick and Max are watching TV.

“Hey Max.” Chelsy whispers. Max turns to look at Chelsy and his jaw drops. Her fur shines, even in the dim lighting of the room. Max breaks into a cold sweat. He’s never seen Chelsy this beautiful before. She walks up to him and closes his mouth. He sill continues to stare, speechless.

“Max, go take a shower.” Nick says.

“Ya, shower, right…” he says distracted by Chelsy. She blushes and giggles. He stands up and walks towards the bathroom, walking straight into a wall on his way. He gets into the bathroom and shuts the door.

“What’s up with Max? He’s acting like he’s never seen me before.” Chelsy asks.

“I think you made him nervous.” Nick says.

“What?” Chelsy says confused.

“Max knows you’re beautiful, but he hasn’t seen you like this in a long time. He was so nervous that he didn’t know what to say. You left him speechless.” Nick explains.

“Do you really think so?” she says, tilting her head.

“Definitely!” Nick says.
